**Job title**: Stock Associate

**Reports to**: Store Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
*** SALES & STORE OPERATIONS**
- **_
Inventory Management_**:

- Execute all inventory handling procedures, including shipments, consolidations, recalls and markdowns
- Process incoming shipments.
- Check in, audit and sensor merchandise per policy.
- Ensure all shipment paperwork is filled correctly.
- Ensure all items are well stocked and represented on the selling floor.
- Prepare out going transfer items at the end of the season.
- Maintain awareness of any shrinkage situations and notifies store management of each situation.
- Ensure all merchandise is sensored prior to going to the selling floor accordingly to sensor guidelines.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound are accurate, report any discrepancies to the store management and inventory control.
- **_ Loss Prevention & Security:_**_ f_ollow all operating and stock management policies & procedures to ensure store assets are secure to minimize loss_
- **_ Maintain Health & Safety Standards:_**_ follow all health & safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all staff, including following ladder usage policy_

**Education**:
High School or College Degree or commensurate retail experience***

**Previous Experience**:
Minimum 1 year experience in the retail industry in a results focused and customer centric retail environment (preferably fashion apparel/footwear)

**Communication skills** - ability to clearly communicate & articulate key ideas and concepts**Strong interpersonal skills** - can connect easily with people**Organizational skills** - manage multiple tasks to meet objectives and critical deadlines**Physical Working Conditions**:

- The physical environment of this position requires the employee to work mainly indoors.
- May be exposed to dust.
- Climb ladders in order to reach merchandise on top shelves and throughout the store.
- List merchandise up to 30 lbs and move fixtures throughout the store and stockroom.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods of times.
