As the first large Veterinary Referral Hospital on Vancouver Island, this is an amazing opportunity to be an integral part of creating the principal center for veterinary care in Victoria and on Vancouver Island in general.

This position is part-time, working **Fridays and Saturdays **with our board certified radiologists and a technician assistant. You will assist with providing our patients with ultrasounds, CTs and MRIs.
- Completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program (eligible to register) OR years of relevant experience in an ER Veterinary Technician role
- A competency with providing sedation, monitoring and recovery of patients during procedures
- Excellent communication skills, computer and phone skills Excellent organizational skills
- The ability to work with little or no supervision when necessary as well as the ability to work as part of a team
- A high level of professionalism
- A desire to learn how to run various imaging equipment such as the CT and MRI Our Team Currently, our team includes 24-hour emergency care, as well as specialists in Dermatology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine and Surgical Oncology.
