Are you someone who is full of energy & passionate about food (a self proclaimed Foodie)?

We are looking for a quick, organized & experienced cook who can work with little direction & follow recipes. An individual who works great in a team environment, but is confident to work alone as well.

Safe food handlers certificate is a requirement.

**Availability to work early mornings with a start time of 6am, 3 days a week & every second weekend.**

To be a successful, you should be a self starter who takes the initiative to be successful is organized, keeps their work area clean. you would need to have excellent time management skills as well as the ability to work with little direction, while multitasking during busy periods. You should be prepared to stand for long periods of time, and be capable of lifting up to 40+ lbs.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing foods based on weekly breakfast & lunch menus as well as frozen take home meals & baked goods.
- The ability to plan & forecast for quantities based on sales.
- Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing meats, cheese and vegetables.
- Assisting baker as required.
- Ensuring supplies are stocked & ready.
- Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
- Cleaning of food preparation dishes, equipment, and areas.

This position has the potential to become full time with success & increased sales volumes.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
