SUPPORT CLERK-LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICES
Permanent, 35 hours per week
Catholic Education Center - Learning Support Services
Under the supervision and guidance of the Superintendent of School Effectiveness, the Support Clerk will use appropriate software to compile and filter various data, and summarize it as directed. They will format reports and/or documents for various end users.
The Support Clerk assists Special Education personnel with various administrative duties as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Two year Community college certificate/diploma in a related field
One year of recent related experience
Demonstrated organizational skills
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good team player
Ability to follow instructions
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
Must work well under time constraints and workload pressures
Excellent discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
Self-starter and ability to work with mínimal supervision
Ability to effectively communicate and relate to people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times is essential
Ability to provide regular attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge related to working in Special Education
Previous experience using Edsembli an asset
Previous experience working in a school board setting
The annual work schedule typically follows the school year calendar and may include additional days worked at the beginning of July and the end of August. Hours of work are scheduled based on department needs.

Salary to be commensurate with recent related experience; salary range will be $24.29 to $30.36 hourly plus vacation pay, with a comprehensive benefit package.
