The Legal Assistant's duties include:

- general administrative duties including: filing, file maintenance, and maintaining a diligent bring forward system
- drafting correspondence to clients and third parties
- maintaining the lawyers' calendars and scheduling matters as necessary
- assisting with preparation of motion records, affidavit of documents, general court documents, and coordinating service and filing of court documents including scanning, bookmarking and working with Caselines
- entering dockets and preparing accounts
- opening and closing files

Your skills include:

- excellent proofreading skills (ability to check typed material for grammatical, typographical, spelling, word usage and format errors)
- the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- the ability to follow instructions with mínimal supervision and take initiative
- strong ability to multi-task
- excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills
- are a team player
- cope well under pressure
- strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PC Law
