**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Surface Preparation**:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by thoroughly cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
**Paint Application**:
- Mix and match paint colors to meet specified requirements and maintain consistency throughout the project.
**Quality Control**:
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and quality, performing touch-ups or corrections as necessary to ensure optimal results.
**Maintenance & Safety**:
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all phases of the painting process.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
- Assist with heavy lifting of automotive parts or materials as needed during the painting process.
**Experience & Skills**:
- Proven experience in automotive repair or painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the automotive painting process.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle components and integrate repairs with painting tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Experience in a dealership or similar automotive environment is a plus but not mandatory.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $22.50-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
Work Location: In person
