**Position Summary**:
At Spot’s Place, we are passionate about providing a safe, enriching, and welcoming environment for dogs and their humans. As a **Rover**, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our pet parents while supporting smooth day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, reliable, and love working with both people and pets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely escort dogs to and from the playroom during drop-off and pick-up times
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional experience for pet parents during all interactions
- Assist with front-of-house cleaning and upkeep to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Support with dog walks, baths, and other basic care services as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure each dog’s needs are met throughout their visit
- Observe and report dog behavior accurately to appropriate team members
- Assist in other areas of the facility as needed to support operations

**Training & Certification**:
Before stepping into the Rover role, all team members must complete the **Pack Leader Certification**, which includes:

- Hands-on training in the playroom
- Certification in dog body language and behavior
- Understanding safety protocols and positive handling techniques

**Qualifications**:

- Passion for animals and strong customer service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable with physical activity, including walking, lifting, and bathing dogs
- Previous experience in pet care or customer service is a plus

**Work Environment**:
This is a physically active role that requires working indoors and outdoors, with frequent interaction with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
