JLL is hiring a Mail Clerk/Day Porter for it's client in Mississauga. The client site has an office building and distribution warehouse. This position, reporting into the Facility Manager, manages the mail room and performs cleaning duties in both spaces as well as assisting the maintenance team as needed.

What this job involves
Weigh mail on scale, compute postage, stamp mail by postage meter and insert letters
Maintain records of incoming and outgoing Certified, Registered and Insured Mail
Complete mail and copier readings as required
Respond to inquiries regarding postal and delivery options as needed
Perform duties of Mail Distributor daily
Manage paper/office supplies stock/distribution
On site facility maintenance duties as required/requested
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, shampooing or vacuuming
Gather and empty trash and recycling.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Operate vacuums and other equipment
Clean windows, glass partitions using appropriate solutions, tools and equipment.
Dust furniture, walls,
Dispense chemicals and solutions as required per manufacturer’s specifications
Move furniture, and supplies, to clean under
Clear debris from grounds
Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a occasional basis
Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
Good communication skills with basic computer skills - experience with Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel).
Ability to work independently with little guidance and under strict deadlines
