**Working for the School of Dentistry**
The School of Dentistry has been educating students who wish to become oral health practitioners and championing the importance of oral health since 1917.
**Position**
**Duties**
The responsibilities during the academic year are primarily focused on didactic and clinical teaching with an expectation to develop as a scholarly teacher.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Applicants will have a Certificate in Dental Assisting from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- All applicants must be registered with or eligible to be registered with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA). Demonstrated experience in the delivery of adult education.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- A related Bachelor's Degree in Education, Leadership, Health Sciences, or Sciences is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a Dental Assisting program or advanced education in Dental Assisting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills, effective communication skills, and proficiency with computers and digital documentation.
