An exciting opportunity to be part of the vibrant team at Vancouver's newest hotspot The Parker Rooftop, situated on the nineth floor of The Parker Hotel, (formerly known as the Vintage Park Hotel.) We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dependable individual to play a pivotal role in supporting our bartending team. If you thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment and take pride in delivering top-notch service, we want you to be a part of our bar team
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including bar surfaces, equipment, glassware, and supplies.
Keep the bar running smoothly by stocking and replenishing essentials such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware.
Ensure a steady supply of clean glasses by retrieving and restocking from the glasswashing area.
Aid in basic food preparation tasks like slicing garnishes and preparing syrups.
Stay on top of inventory levels, working with bartenders and management to reorder supplies promptly.
Provide outstanding customer service by occasionally taking orders, answering questions, and accommodating special requests professionally.
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
Assist with any additional duties assigned by management to support the overall operation of the bar and restaurant.
**Requirements**:
While prior experience as a barback is preferred, it's not mandatory.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must have legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
