Banquet Dishwasher

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced banquet/kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our food service operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using dishwashing machines or manual methods.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization procedures are followed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Collect and sort dirty dishes and utensils from event spaces and kitchen areas.
- Report any broken or damaged dishware and utensils to the supervisor.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and notifying management when restocks are needed.
- Support kitchen staff in other duties as needed, including light prep work or cleaning the kitchen area.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a high-paced event setting.
- **Be available for on-call shifts based on event schedules, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a banquet or kitchen facility preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work well with other kitchen and event staff.
- Knowledge of basic dishwashing techniques and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis as per event schedules.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

**Working Conditions**:

- The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Work environment may include exposure to hot water, cleaning chemicals, and noisy conditions.
- Must be willing to work during evening and weekend events.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $16.55-$17.55 per hour
