Job description

**Summary**

Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, this role supports the efficient material flow of raw materials and finished product while ensuring compliance with inventory control protocols, safety, and quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathers and interprets bulk material picking sheet and work order Bill of Material
- Using a lift truck, brings all bulk materials to necessary stations/lines on time for production
- Performs cycle counts as per established procedures (pack sizes, gross/net/tare weights, and unit conversion)
- Independently troubleshoots issues with raw material quantities, lots and location data
- Uses Company enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool to maintain inventory control
- Continuously communicates with production employees to pick up unused materials and finished product
- Assists coordinator in stock rotation, maintaining warehouse optimization
- Conducts all duties in compliance with GMP and Safety policies and procedures
- Participates in all GMP, Associate Safety, Food Safety and other applicable training
- Reports any food safety and/or Associate or property safety-related accidents, incidents, and hazardous conditions

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma, required
- Experience in distribution centre or manufacturing facility
- Proficient computer skills including inventory control systems and scanning equipment
- Experience driving a forklift, must be licensed
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible to work various shifts that may include early mornings, afternoons, weekends as coordinated with Manager

**Physical demands**:

- May be required to stand/ sit/ walk for long periods of time
- May be required to engage in bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 kg or 50 lbs.
