As part of the larger Security Infrastructure and Operations team, reporting to the Director, Information Security Protection and Analysis, and working closely with other sector leaders, you will play a key role in achieving results for the Information Security Service Delivery department.
More specifically, your main responsibility as Manager, Offensive Application Security and Vulnerabilities, will be to oversee an IT team **of approximately 14 people **(security analysts, scrum master, security administrators).
Passionate about guiding and developing your employees, you will be eager to share your skills and prepare the next generation by assuming the following responsibilities:
- Manage your employees’ **performance **and** development** as well as their** workload, productivity **and the** quality of their work**, all while ensuring their wellbeing
- Be accountable for the **performance **of your service unit, the **quality of results**, **client satisfaction **and the performance of resources
- Ensure that **costs **and that work or intervention** scope **and** deadlines **are respected
- ** Continuously improve** work methods and processes
These responsibilities will call on your soft and hard skills as well as your past experiences. As an excellent communicator with strong listening and support skills, and the ability to manage emergencies and priorities, this position will give you the satisfaction of meeting new challenges within our organization
This is a permanent position, located in Eastern Canada.
**Your profile**:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other relevant university-level training
- Minimum of eight years experience combining team and information system management
- Five years experience in the information security field
- Superior teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal and professional relationship skills aimed at building and developing a network of contacts, both within and outside iA Financial Group
- Independence, initiative, leadership, managerial courage, influence, as well as above-average communication skills that can be frequently drawn upon in unclear and complicated situations
- Ability to anticipate difficulties and issues, and develop and implement innovative solutions in line with objectives
- Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal and external French
- and English-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada
- Excellent understanding of management and the impact of budgetary issues
