As the Logistics Supervisor and the leader of the Logistics Team, you are accountable for meeting the logistics and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in meeting the company wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals.

**Logistics Operations**
- Oversee all logistics operations during every shift including managing warehouse personnel, comparing shipment contents with manifests, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing and logistics products or materials.
- Monitor production activity and production speeds to meet and exceed the set efficiency goals and set quality standards.
- Collaborate with CSRs or any other internal staff to answer any questions.
- Implement procedures that improve departmental efficiency and ensure the obtainment of efficiency targets.
- Operate forklift equipment to load and unload shipments, moving skids around the production floor, etc.
- Organize departmental workflow to meet delivery requirements.
- Maintain logistics records and provide information to sales representatives, customers and management with regard to delivery dates, schedules and logistics problems.
- Prepare, update, and transmit departmental communications.
- Inspect physical condition of the warehouse, dock, vehicles, and equipment according to checkup schedules and initiate appropriate actions to remedy unsatisfactory findings.
- Monitor accuracy and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Ensure employee safety training is conducted as required by Company Policy.
- Coordinate all logistics orders.
- Implement economical logistics methods.
- Communicate with Finance/Accounting of various payments, documents, POs etc.
- Assist receiving when required and work as backup.

**Logistics Personnel**
- Review warehouse operations regularly to determine overall levels of efficiency, safety, employee morale, and production, and present findings and suggested changes to department heads and upper management
- Provide a positive and motivating example for employees.
- Conduct, delegate and/or authorize training of production employees.
- Conduct formal performance reviews per company policy.
- Initiate disciplinary measures according to company policy when needed.
- Create schedules for each employee in the department to ensure that they are working towards set goals.
- Implement economical logistics methods.

**Working Conditions**:

- Sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8.5 hours or more per day.
- Intensive computer work and extended use of the computer keyboard and mouse.
- Frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and twisting is required.
- Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
- Exposure to ink and chemical fumes and airborne particles such as paper dust and drying powder.
- Appearance at all times must represent the company image.
- Additional hours may be required due to operational requirements.
