**GKM Consultants**, a Canadian company with a proven experience in geotechnical and structural instrumentation projects, as well as in vibration and noise control and monitoring, is recognized in Canada and internationally for its expertise. We provide customized and innovative monitoring solutions and have all the resources required to complete the various phases of instrument installation and commissioning throughout construction. Our worldwide operations deliver projects in multiple sectors, including mining, civil engineering, energy and the environment. Our head office is located in Sainte-Julie, Québec.

We are seeking an energetic person for the role of
**Project Manager **to be based at our
**Mississauga, ON**
***office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders
- Manage resources such as construction materials, field technician and equipment
- Inspection of construction sites to ensure quality is being delivered safely
- Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements

Qualifications:
**Education and Experience**
- College certificate/ diploma in related field preferred
- University degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Prior work experience of at least 2 years in related role or industry

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**
- Geotechnical instrument knowledge is an asset
- Must be fluently in English
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Works well under pressure to hit deadlines as needed
