**The responsibilities of this position include**:

- To meet and greet guests, providing a guest experience that is consistent with Sheraton standards.
- To serve all guests according to Sheraton Toronto Airport Room Service standards.
- To be familiar with all food and beverage items in Room Service on order to assist the guest in their selection and promote the items.
- To provide service to our guests in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.
- To maintain accurate guest checks and upon delivery of an order, ensure the check is properly acknowledged and signed by the guest.
- To promote the use of all Hotel facilities and promote special promotions.
- To handle guest concerns, compliments and suggestions in a professional informed manner.
- To follow and comply with Hotel cash handling policies and procedures.
- To adhere to local liquor and health, safety and fire procedures and laws.
- To make recommendations for improvement to either product or service in Room Service.
- To respond to guest concerns and solicit guest feedback.
- To participate in the daily pre-shift meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum of one year current related work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- A professional team player, who is well-organized and able to work on own initiative.
- Must have Smart Serve certification.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- As **Full-time Associate**, you must have open availability (days, evenings, weekdays and weekends).
- Part-time applicants must have weekend (Sat & Sun) availability, with the ability to work up to 24 hrs/week (3 shifts).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.52-$19.02 per hour
