**Job Title**: Butcher

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Salary Range**: $20 - $24 per hour (based on experience)

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products (beef, poultry, lamb, pork, etc.) according to specifications and customer requirements.
- Operate knives, band saws, grinders, and other butchery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Inspect meat quality and ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and cutting techniques to minimize waste.
- Properly store and label meat products to maintain freshness and traceability.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work surfaces on a regular basis.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional butchery experience in retail, wholesale, or meat processing environments.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of various meat cutting techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP) and workplace safety protocols.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Early morning start times (6:30 AM).
- Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Exposure to refrigerated environments.
- Use of protective clothing and safety equipment as required.
