Respite Support Worker - Part-Time
Location: In-person
Pay: 18.00-$20.00 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting children and youth with diverse needs? We’re hiring Respite Support Workers to join our caring and committed team. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide hands-on care while gaining valuable experience in healthcare and disability services.

**What You’ll Do**
Provide one-on-one care for clients aged 2-17
Assist with daily routines: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and bedtime/morning care
Plan and participate in engaging activities (e.g., park visits, swimming, community outings)
Administer medications as directed
Prepare meals and accommodate dietary needs
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
Support mobility and physical transfers, including heavy lifting
Offer companionship and emotional support
**What We’re Looking For**
Experience in caregiving or similar roles
Knowledge of medication administration
Physically capable of lifting and assisting with mobility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and respectful of client privacy
**Requirements**:
First Aid & CPR Certification (required)
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months - required)
Child and Family Services (CFS) Intervention Check (within 6 months - required)
Valid Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, and $2M Liability Insurance (required)
NVCI training is an asset
