PVS Contractors Inc is the leader in telecommunications network infrastructure services. We are currently seeking energetic, career-minded individuals for the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance Team.

The primary focus of a Quality Assurance Coordinator is to maintain and ensure PVS Standards/Processes and develop Standards and Guidance for Damage Prevention Technicians. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will ensure quality is maintained throughout all PVS non-locate processes, including Training, Quality Assurance Audits, Locate Procedures/Processes and the PVS Quality Management System (QMS)

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Lead, Innovate and Commit to Excellence
- Administrate all PVS Training Programs
- Create, update and maintain PVS Training Programs.
- Update and maintain PVS Locate Procedures Manual.
- Update and maintain PVS QMS, addressing QMS audit results in timely manner.
- Attend meetings on behalf of the Quality Department when requested.
- Support of PVS policies and procedures.
- Lead and direct team on daily activities.
- Supervise and advise Quality department auditing resources.
- Provide expertise and knowledge to other PVS staff when required
- Identify and address deficiencies or gaps in PVS non-locate processes.
- Address locate non-conformances and identify deficiencies with PVS products.
- Support Health & Safety Policies
- Other duties as required

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary education in a discipline relevant to the job function or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to establish effective and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with Utility Locating Policy and Procedures
- Experience in Utility Locates and Quality Assurance
- Experience in all utilities within PVS Contractors Inc. is an asset.
- Ability to operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
- Capable of maintaining high productivity
- Excellent safety and attendance record and previously demonstrated strong safety awareness
- Be physically able to do the job which includes walking ditches, walking on uneven surfaces, lifting up to 9kg (20 lbs.) and using a shovel
- Satisfactory driver and criminal background certificate
