Pharmacy Technician

**Registered Pharmacy Technician**

We are looking for an individual who is **Experienced in the Retail Pharmacy Field** to work as a **Pharmacy Technician** at a community pharmacy in Orleans.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
- Data entry of patient care information into Kroll,
- Third Party adjudication
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
- Handling customer prescription pick up,
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant; AND Experience with Kroll
- excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- strong communication skills;
- demonstrated customer service experience;
- strong motivation to succeed;
- proficient computer/data/entry skills with Kroll and Microsoft Office.

**Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacist required**

**Injection Certification Preferred**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-38 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$29.00 per hour

- Orleans, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- pharmacy: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified with OCP (required)
- Injection Certified (preferred)
