**Join The Home Team** Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors is looking for a skilled and motivated **Railing Fabricator** to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Owen Sound showroom but services customers in Grey, Bruce and Simcoe counties. **About Us** Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors is an established Canadian custom exteriors business in Southern Ontario that has been proudly family-owned and operated for over 60 years. We specialize in the sales and installation of siding, windows, doors, garage doors, decking, sunrooms, railing and more We operate two village-style showrooms, one in Owen Sound and one in Collingwood, that are packed with model homes outfitted with the latest products and technology in the custom exteriors industry. Our motto is: "If it goes on the outside of your house, you'll find it on the inside of ours." **About You** - Have the ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints - Have a familiarity with hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery - Have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Have the physical ability to lift materials and stand for long periods - Have a valid G-class driver’s license and reliable transportation **About The Position** As a Home Team Railing Fabricator, your day-to-day tasks will involve assembling a wide range of industry-leading railing products, including: - Fabricating aluminum and/or glass railings according to shop drawings and specifications - Operate fabrication tools and equipment (e.g. drill, saws, grinders, etc.) - Read and interpret sketches and drawings - Measure and cut materials with accuracy and precision - Perform cutting of extrusions, drilling and assembly or railings - Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with the installation team as needed **Schedule** Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm **Benefits** - Competitive pay and opportunities for overtime - Extended health benefits - Supportive and skilled team environment - Van Dolder’s Custom Exteriors thanks all applicants for their interest, but only those chosen for a personal interview will be contacted._ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Extended health care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Overtime Work Location: In person
