**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an asphalt production environment, including operation of heavy equipment
- Thorough knowledge of the municipal road building industry
- Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure
- Demonstrated experience in use of computers and data entry
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Valid safety certifications
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds

**Additional Information**:

- This is a seasonal position and is eligible for over-time
- Opportunity for local employment within Edmonton
- Training will be provided for various activities
- We offer excellent wages and a health and benefits plan with the eligibility to participate after 3 months. There is also the possibly of continuing during the winter months upon meeting the necessary requirements.
- Potential on-call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season
