Lodgepole Horticultural Services INC is a small business in the beautiful City of Okotoks, AB. We are professional, fast-paced, supportive, and our goal at Lodgepole Horticultural Services is to provide high quality tree and shrub care to the Okotoks area. Lodgepole has been offering all aspects of tree care for over 20 years and we look forward to serving our community for many more.

Lodgepole is a small team of long term employees. We have an amazing client base with beautiful landscapes, which we genuinely look forward to helping them maintain.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated tree worker to grow with our team. Lodgepole is seeking an ISA certified arborist with climbing experience. This position will include climbing but we have a strong focus on longevity within the industry so this postition is not a production climbing position. We love to utilize equipment to make our jobs easier such as tractors, lifts etc. We have a strong focus on safety and run top of the line, consistently maintained equipment.

This is a full time, year round postition. We prune trees in the winter so no snow removal

**Responsibilities**:

- Prune and remove trees and shrubs according to accepted horticultural practices.
- Inspect trees for signs of disease, insect infestation and structural damage.
- Identify tree species and determine appropriate care and maintenance needs.
- Provide recommendations for tree removal when necessary.
- Operate specialized equipment such as chippers, stump grinders, and aerial lifts.

Pay: $27.00-$34.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Okotoks, AB T1S 1J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
