-Landscape Technician

Parkside Landscaping is a landscape design/ build/ maintenance company, who have been creating distinctive landscapes since 1986.

With growing demand Parkside landscaping is looking to add experienced, energetic and knowledgeable professionals to join our team.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions: Landscape Technician, Snow removal crew lead, snow removal team member

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Weekly property maintenance of lawns and gardens, fall cleanups, leaf raking, pruning, and any remaining installation projects

Working with the weather to complete sidewalk and stair shovelling and salting. Hours of work to be in the overnight hours prior to the start of business as well as through the business day.

Proper care for small engine equipment and maintenance tools.

Work Conditions:
Fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work under pressure and complete projects within time restraints.

Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Able to work long hours.

Must be physically fit to preform all duties which includes lifting, pushing, kneeling and bending for an extended amount of time.

**Qualifications**:

- Attention to detail
- positive attitude
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Strong organization, leadership, and communication skills
- 2 years of landscaping experience preferred
- Valid Drivers License G required
- Plant identification skills are an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- 2 years minimum experience required.
- Horticulture and/or Landscape technician degrees are an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

**Experience**:

- landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
