Admission Counselor

**About Us**:
Musitechnic, a respected NGO, is on a mission to revitalize education opportunities for local students who have discontinued their high school or cegep studies. We are seeking a dynamic Admission Counselor with substantial experience in nonprofit institutions and community centers to join our team. By guiding students towards our immersive audiovisual and generative AI practical programs, you'll play a vital role in fostering hands-on skills development in music production, sound recording and mixing, video games, AR, XR, and GPT experiences (915-1620 hours).

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and engage potential students who have dropped out of high schools and cegeps, promoting our unique audiovisual and generative AI programs.
- Collaborate with local NGOs and community centers to facilitate outreach programs and partnerships, promoting educational opportunities.
- Provide personalized counseling and support to prospective students, addressing concerns and barriers to re-entry.
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline the admission process and ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the growth of Quebec's music arts and AI industries by encouraging student enrollment in our programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experiences in admissions counseling, specifically within nonprofit institutions, community centers, or schools in Quebec.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
- Passion for contributing to the development of Quebec's music art culture and artificial intelligence industry.

**Salary**: $35,901.00-$56,101.00 per year
