**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Supervisor and or the Cultivation Manager, the Plant Work Specialist is responsible for leading the plant work team in day-to-day duties including planting, harvesting, pruning, defoliating, trimming cannabis and any other special projects assigned by Supervisor and or Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the team to support all aspects of the plant work cycle including planting, harvesting, pruning, defoliating and trimming our exceptional products.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing grow and dry rooms.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adherence to Health and Safety standards for both them and those around them.
- Knowledge of required theory and practices related to the Cannabis Industry.
- Adhere to the company code of conduct and all applicable SOPs.
- Demonstrate a continued level of development and improvement of skills/knowledge to help better complete your duties.
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
- High level of accuracy.
- Strong physical abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability and desire to work with people at all levels of the organization.
**Education and Experience**:
- Previous experience in an agricultural or horticultural setting an asset
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting an asset
