**Position Summary**

Kids Care Autism Services is seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic **In-Home Respite Care Providers** to join our growing team. This position involves providing one-on-one support to children with autism in their home environment. The respite worker helps families by offering temporary relief while ensuring the child is engaged in meaningful, structured, and enjoyable activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direct supervision and care for the child during scheduled respite hours
- Engage the child in developmentally appropriate play and learning activities
- Support the child’s daily routines (e.g., snack time, transitions, hygiene assistance)
- Implement positive behavior strategies as guided by the family or clinical team
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment
- Document session notes and communicate updates with parents and/or supervisors
- Follow the individualized care plan provided by Kids Care Autism Services

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children (experience with autism or developmental disabilities is an asset)
- Understanding of ABA principles or behavior support strategies (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation preferred
