We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our Event Set Up and Décor team The Event Set Up Supervisor will ensure our guest’s satisfaction is met by overseeing the effective operations of the event process from set up to tear down.

Oversees the Event Set-Up and Décor team to ensure accurate set up of tables and décor are complete as per event requirements.

**THE EVENT SET UP SUPERVISOR AT CARMEN’S BANQUET CENTRE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:

- Oversee the Set-Up And Décor team to ensure the client's ideas come to life by setting up each event space to reflect their vision in an accurate and timely manner
- Work alongside the VP of Building Operations to maintain equipment and address any maintenance issues/needs
- Track inventory of required items and create orders as needed
- Assist with training and developing a strong service-oriented team and creating a positive work environment
- Supervise team and workspace for health & safety related concerns; identifying hazards and maintaining a safe working environment
- Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
- Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
- Drive positive change in the organization
- Other duties as assigned
**EVENT SET UP SUPERVISOR POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
- 1-2 years supervisory experience in the hospitality / tourism industry an asset
- Lift License required
- Working at Heights certificate an asset
- First Aid certificate an asset
- Maintenance experience considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on leadership ability
- Knowledge of event operations and building systems and functions is considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs required
