Irrigation Technician

We are looking for an experienced Irrigation Specialist to work with our Irrigation Technician.

You must have a valid driver's license

We will provide the infrastructure (Workplace, office staff, work truck, _**most**_ tools & equipment & the work). There is a lack of irrigation technicians/services in The Campbell River/Courtney-Comox Area, CLAY-NOR lawn and garden has a large existing customer base with significant demand for irrigation

**Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for landscaping projects.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance and gardening tasks.
- Maintain a valid driving license to transport equipment and materials to job sites.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating excavators and other machinery.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools
- Familiarity with gardening and horticulture practices
- Ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery
- Relevant construction experience
- Valid driving license to operate vehicles on job sites

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Overtime pay
- Tips

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Irrigation repairs & installations: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
