**Position Summary**:
Are you passionate about shaping the future of paramedic education? The Health Sciences Division - Paramedic Academy at JIBC is seeking an enthusiastic Regional Training Coordinator (RTC) to lead the delivery of the Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Program at our New Westminster campus. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding the next generation of paramedics by ensuring high-quality instruction, program integrity, and a seamless learning experience.

As the RTC, you’ll collaborate with dedicated faculty and staff to deliver innovative curriculum, support revisions that keep our programs at the forefront of paramedic education, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to expand training and placement opportunities. This role offers the chance to inspire learners, mentor instructors, and make a meaningful impact on the paramedic community. Occasional travel outside New Westminster will bring variety and regional engagement to your work.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience.
- Professional qualifications in Paramedicine at the Primary Care Paramedic level or above.
- Certificate in training, facilitation, or adult education (asset).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in an education setting.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong formatting and data management expertise.
- Basic to intermediate experience using Blackboard or similar Learning Management Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Sound judgment and sensitivity in managing complex issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned training region and other areas of the province as needed.

Fair Comparison/Excluded/Faculty Equivalent: We offer a total compensation package that includes a benefit plan, which includes Extended Health and Dental Benefits after three months, and enrollment in the College Pension Plan upon hire. In addition, we offer 20 vacation days and 10 Personal Days annually (pro-rated in first year), as well as generous other leave entitlements.

**Work Arrangements**:
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) regular position, on-site at the Kelowna campus. Hybrid work will also be considered during times where there will be no impact on student experience.
