The demand for **quality cleaning services **in Ottawa is at an ultimate high among seniors living at home. Maintaining a clean space is an integral part of being able to continue living at home independently and many seniors are not able to keep up with the demands. We are currently looking for **Cleaners and Housekeepers **who are passionate about improving the quality of life of seniors in our communities to help them remain living at home safely and independently.

We’re mindful of pairing you with clients in or near your area and work with you to develop a flexible schedule that suits your availability and compliments your lifestyle.

Our friendly and caring staff are always just a call away to provide the assistance and support that you deserve.
- **Light **_**Cleaning: $25 per hour - **regular weekly or bi-weekly home maintenance which may include: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down/sanitizing countertops and sinks in kitchen and bathroom, wiping down toilets, cleaning mirrors, emptying waste baskets, making beds/changing linens.
- **Heavy **_**Cleaning: $28 per hour - **organizing & tidying cluttered areas; cleaning inside appliances, cupboards, cabinets, & shelves; vacuuming furniture; removal of carpet & wall stains; scrubbing baseboards; wiping down cabinet & cupboard doors & other furniture surfaces; cleaning/dusting items on shelves (upon client instruction/permission - items may be fragile); moving around heavier furniture to clean hard-to-reach areas; intensive/vigorous scrubbing of shower stalls, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, floors, and other grimy/hard-to-clean surfaces.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous **house cleaning** / **housekeeping **experience
- Previous employed, volunteer, or personal experience with **assisting seniors, providing home care or caregiving services**, or working with the senior population in other capacities is an asset
- Flexible **weekday availability**. Weekend opportunities also available.
- Strong work ethic, compassionate, reliable, punctual, good time management, efficient, strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills (fluent in English)
- **Vulnerable Sector Check** (12 months old or less, or otherwise willing to obtain)
- At least **2 professional references** (who can vouch for your skills, abilities, and previous work experience)

**The following are assets but not required**:

- _Valid driver's licence & own vehicle_
- _Evening and/or weekend availability_
- _Bilingual (English & French)_

**SENIORS ON SITE**:
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 - 30 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
