Job description

We are looking for an energetic, customer oriented pharmacy clerk who is willing to learn.

Standard Workflow Requirements:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent patient and prescription information
- Taking care of the fridge temperature log ensuring everything is up to date and functional
- Clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges
- Greeting patients
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- Performing expiry checks of all items in the pharmacy
- Answer phones and general OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required with the Pharmacy Point of Sale System
- Keeping a safe, comfortable and clean work environment (sanitization of all equipment/cleaning, etc..)
- Possess a positive team spirit in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards while delivering superior customer service
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
- A strong command of the English language is required
- Available to evenings, weekends and holidays
