**Commercial Specialist, Commercial Mortgage Operations (4-month contract)**
**Portfolio Surveillance and Special Mandates**

CMLS Commercial Mortgage Servicing team is a division of CMLS Financial and the leading provider of commercial lending servicing to our clients including some of Canada’s most prominent banks, investment managers and pension fund management companies.
**About the Role**
You will provide timely and proactive support including:
- Collecting and tracking of financial and property information required to complete loan reviews;
- Maintaining mortgage servicing records in an accurate and timely manner;
- Assisting in loan monitoring compliance functions, including assisting in annual operating statement analysis;
- Contacting borrower clients to obtain additional information and/or explanations for operating statement variances;
- Assisting with the review of property inspection reports;
- Participating in gathering documents for auditors and other regulatory bodies;
- Supporting our team of specialists on the daily procedures as required through the life of a commercial mortgage;
- Assist with special projects as required.
**This role is for you if have**:
- You are very results-driven and possess strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- You demonstrate professionalism, judgment, and integrity.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are an intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft Office.
- You have a passion for real estate lending business.
- You have strong analytical and numerical skills.
- You take ownership of your work and demonstrate a high degree of accountability and commitment at all times
- You are a 3rd or 4th year student (or equivalent) with education in areas of finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
