Bartender/waitress

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offerings to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication between the bar and dining areas.
- Handle any guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in bartending or serving roles.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends is desirable.

Pay: $15.65-$43.63 per hour
