**About Us**

We are looking for two (2) Area Managers to support the Pickering RFBR Infrastructure Scope. The Area Manager has overall accountability for the progression of planning and readiness activities related to the following:
1) Area Manager, Control Center and East Annex. This position provides leadership and alignment for all activities related to the Pickering RFBR Control Centers and East Annex.
- Five (5) structures which will function as operational control centers for the Pickering refurbishment to have a centralized audio and visual communication hub for skilled trades and in-field supervision:

- Retube Control Center 1 (RCC1)
- Retube Control Center 2 / Feeder Control Center (RCC2/FCC)
- Boiler Control Center (BCC)
- Boiler Field Office (BFO)
- Upgrading the existing East Annex (currently a two-story warehouse) to function as space for:

- Engineered tool staging, refurbishment, and commissioning
- Fabrication area
- Material laydown

2) Area Manager, Retube and Feeder Replacement Island Annex (RFRISA). The RFRISA will be a three-storey modular office building that will support the Project staff during execution. This position provides leadership and alignment for all activities related to the Pickering RFBR RFRISA.

Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Project Manager, they are the primary point of contact to ensure a consistent, deliberate, and clear methodology is used for key decisions, and advancement of deliverables their scope of work.

**What You'll Do Here**
- Lead by example to ensure a “ONE TEAM” Project-First, collaborative approach for internal, external, cross-JV and client-facing interactions. Create the context that promotes this and other values that are required to make the project successful
- Ensure the delivery of all its scope in accordance with safety standards, on time, on budget and compliant with the Contract
- Provide regular and accurate progress updates to the Project Manager, CanAtom Project Controls, and the Client for reporting purposes
- The Area Manager is accountable for the cost & schedule adherence and management of threats and opportunities, including timely escalation
- Early identification of any threats to Project schedule or cost profile, or quality issues
- Constantly monitor for schedule and cost reduction opportunities across their scope of work. In particular, the Area Manager should be continuously looking for more efficient methods to perform the Work
- Work collaboratively with the Infrastructure stakeholders to ensure the Project requirements are met and represents the most efficient methods to deliver its Scope
- Driving compensatory actions related to adverse quality trends during the project
- As a member of the Infrastructure Project Leadership Team, participate in regular meetings and provides advice and support to the other members
- Support the development and maintenance of the Project Risk Register. Specifically, the Area Manager is responsible for the identification, mitigation and management of related risk items for their scopes
