As a Full-Time (Seasonal) Landscape Construction Crew Member you work well with others, take pride in your work, and can deliver a high standard of workmanship in an efficient manner. This is seasonal work (April to December is typical) with the possibility of Winter snow removal work.

**Job Duties**:

- Spread top soil, lay sod, plant - flowers, grass, shrubs and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
- Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, and perform other maintenance duties as directed by supervisor
- Construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubs, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures, as directed by supervisor
- Safely operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chainsaws, sod cutters, pruning saws and other landscape maintenance equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, tampers)
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma is an asset
- Practical experience in hardscaping/soft scaping is an asset
- Must be able to lift 50lb+ consistently
- Physically fit with the ability to perform vigorous and repetitive tasks such as tree, shrub, and perennial planting/care, mulching, weeding, garden bed creation, etc.
- Positive problem-solving attitude is important
- A valid Class G driver’s license is an asset; clean drivers abstract is required
- First Aid and Working at Heights certificates are an asset, but will train

**Work Conditions**:

- Outdoors

**Type of work**:Sodding, planting, lawn and property maintenance, soft scaping and hardscaping work, as well as some carpentry and demolition

**Work Experience**:1-3 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8-9 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
