Calgary, Canada Allied Industrial Dynamics Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reading and interpreting specifications and blueprints.
- Installing, assembling and perform maintenance of control panels.
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, feeders, low voltage controls, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
- Install metallic conduits, cable trays, and associated wiring/cables.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical motors.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
- Use multimeter and insulation tester to ensure correct installation of electrical components.
- Installing, maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment and industrial communications systems.
- Assemble machines in compliance with quality procedures and control methods.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, follow oral and written instructions, and determine tools to use with full proficiency.
- Select and install components from bill of materials
- Manipulate and orient large pieces of equipment safely and efficiently with the use of overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Self-Motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Follow and comply with all company Health and Safety and Quality policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Be a registered electrician apprentice (3rd Year)
- Motivated and willing to learn.
- High attention to detail
- Must have a high degree of professionalism and pride in finished work
- Must have basic hand tools, toolbox, etc.
- Must have experience working with industrial machinery and be mechanically inclined.
- Must have the ability to travel for work and be on call when required.
- Must have a clean driver abstract.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Pay negotiable based on experience.
- Full benefits after 3-month probationary term.
