As an **Accounting Technician**, you will be part of a friendly team delivering exceptional accounting and financial services to our clients. You will work closely with our team of professionals and leverage your expertise to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.

**Description of Tasks & Objectives**
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger maintenance.
- Bookkeeping skills
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation, including individual and corporate tax returns.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure clients' compliance with tax laws.
- Collaborate with clients to answer accounting-related questions and provide guidance.
- Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.

**Minimum Requirements & Credentials**:

- Post-Secondary an asset
- Experience in public accounting or a related field an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and have excellent workload management skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks, SAGE, etc.)
- Knowledge of CaseWare and Profile an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Seasonal overtime is expected for personal tax return preparation

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
