**We are a Windsor, ON based Agency, quickly expanding to Service Goderich and Huron Perth area. **We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team of Developmental Support Workers and Community Support Workers (DSW/CSW). Leslie’s Support Solutions inc, provides Community Support Services to adults (21 +) with the assistance of _PassportOne_ funding. This funding allowing individuals to complete activities within their community (ie
- bowling, swimming, paddle boarding, sports, arcade, mini golfing, movies, concerts, daily excursions, vacation requests, etc;) As DSWs and CSWs, your role also has some flexibility to assist individuals with their prospective goals and desires. Some of these may include assistance with independent living skills, assisting with vacation requests, assisting with budgeting and attending appointments (when requested).

**Responsibilities include**:Upholding meeting times with clients, consistency with clients, Encouraging independence, connecting individuals to local activities, participating in local activities with clients; fostering a supportive environment, and ensuring the well-being of clients. **Must be willing to travel throughout Windsor-Essex County area**

**Requirements**:

- **This position requires you to travel throughout all Windsor-Essex County**:

- Must have a **clear** Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check to **start**:

- Standard First Aid and CPR certificate within 90 days of start date.
- A valid 'G' driver’s license and reliable transportation is **mandatory**:

- Must present Driver's Abstract
- **Will need to obtain 6A 'able to carry passengers' insurance policy within** _(any increase to insurance policy is reimbursed after probation period)_
- Must be able to travel locally and comfortably with passengers with the understanding that employees will be using their own vehicles _(LSS offers mileage reimbursement of.55 cents/KM)_
- Must be able to work every other weekend (as needed)
- **Must demonstrate care & compassion in all aspects of direct care.**:

- **Must be comfortable working with multiple clients**:

- **Must be comfortable driving clients (as needed) to various destinations**:

- Must be able to collaborate and work harmoniously with caregivers, under the direction of Management, when needed
- Must be comfortable with working 1:1 supports, under the guidance of the LSS Support Plan
- Must have excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Must be able to participate in all 1:1 daily activities
- Participate and collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of client care, when necessary
- Ability to carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with LSS inc.
- Abide by LSS’s Support Plan and structures in place
- Complete all daily paperwork such as; client support notes, incident reports (when required), Injury Reports (when required) and any other necessary communication notes.
- Must be able to abide by TimeKeeping Policies
- Must complete yearly OSHA requirements and WHIMIS Certifications; all LSS inc regulations, policies and procedures and remain in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Human Services and its regulations, as well as other legislation as applicable.
- Must complete all necessary training and e-learning modules within 90 days of start date

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

1. Must comply with Leslie’s Support Solutions and Human Resource Policies and Procedures
2. Must Obtain **CLEAR **Vulnerable Sector Check within 10 business days of position acceptance.
4. Must provide and maintain a valid First and and CPR certification
5. Must complete all Necessary training (including; WHIMIS and OHSA e-learning courses)
6. Must be available work the required Hours stated above.
