- Monitor, identify, and address security vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure
- Manage access control and identity management to ensure that only authorized personnel and services have access to our cloud resources
- Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
- Conduct security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement remediation plans
- Deliver and manage daily operational tasks of the Infrastructure and Security Operations team
- Participate in responses to incidents of both security and infrastructure services
- Provide guidance to other teams on how to properly configure and secure cloud resources on Azure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in the cloud industry and adjust security measures accordingly
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and security, with a focus on the Azure Cloud platform
- Strong understanding of Azure security best practices and awareness of common security frameworks and practices such as NIST, SOC 2, PCI, and HIPAA
- Strong understanding of network security and firewall management
- Experience with Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel
- Knowledge of common authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies or AZ-303: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes an Terraform
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience delivering infrastructure and service changes with Azure DevOps
- Experience with cloud security automation tools such as Azure Policy, Azure Security Center APIs, Azure Sentinel and MS’ general security platforms such as Cloud App
