We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and eager Assistant Site Superintendent to join our team. Working to support Project Managers, this role will work with multiple stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget, to the full scope of the project and in a safety conscious way. This position will operate in our London, Ontario office.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE**
- Work with Superintendent to plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions and provide day-to-day assistance on scheduling, engineering, purchasing, material control, and cost accounting.
- Assist to ensure that all safety guidelines are followed and that the company is in compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations. Monitor Subcontractors compliance with project safety program requirements, work rules, conduct rules.
- Assist in accurately completing daily Superintendent’s log.
- Assist with monitoring overall project schedule for productivity of trades, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual SCHEDULE performance of project.
- Assist Superintendent in Day-to-day planning and supervision of the work of Subcontractors.
- Assist to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design and quality requirements relating to materials, quality, testing and inspection of the work.
- Record all details, time and materials consumed pertaining to additional work and potential back charges and provide this information to the Project Manager on a timely basis for their action and processing.
- Assist with procurement and receipt and coordination of all material deliveries and the collection and turning over of associated paperwork (e.g., packing/delivery slips) to administration.
- Notify the Project Manager or Superintendent of any damaged equipment or materials at this job site(s) and assist to ensure that proper tools and equipment are ready for crews when required.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Construction-related diploma or degree, or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on-site as part of large-scale developments
- Experience in High Rise Construction is a must
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
- Minimum two to three (2-3) years in the construction industry
