**LOCATION**: 13TH STREET & GRAND BOULEVARD, NORTH VANCOUVER
**REPORTS TO**: HEAD TEACHER

**SUMMARY** Provides nurturing care and developmentally appropriate education to meet the needs of children in a group setting within a safe and healthy environment and in cooperation with parents, colleagues and community professionals.

**KEY OBJECTIVES**
- To perform duties in accordance with the mission statement and core values of MyBaby Daycare and the mandate of Infant/Toddler or Group Child Care Program.
- To provide high quality child care in a group setting that meets the diverse needs and promotes optimum physical, emotional, social, cognitive and intellectual development of the children in care.

**TEACHER - QUALIFICATIONS**
- BC Licensed Early Childhood Education Certificate
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Immunization Record
- Proven ability to work closely with other team members
- Sensitivity and respect for individual and cultural differences
- Adequate energy level and ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- An additional language would be an asset.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Infant & Toddler Educator Certificate (required)
