**What you’ll do**:
The Customer Service Supervisor, Liquor is responsible to ensure customer service is provided through maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
- Assists the store manager with oversight of the daily store management ensuring operations and management in accordance with Mid Island Co-op policies, procedures and programs, including providing supervision and direction to store employees.
- Assists the store manager and assistant manager in organizing and directing the activities and operations of the store.
- Orders all merchandise and supplies.
- Receiving, including reviewing/verifying and authorizing appropriate invoices, returns, transfers, claims and proper storage of products.
- Organizes and conducts inventory.
- Processes register transactions, refunds and returns, activates gift cards.
- Stocks, faces and rotates product on shelves, ensuring display presentation and proper stock levels are maintained.
- Cleans spills and display fixtures to ensure a neat and organized store is maintained
- Ensures sales floor and back stock are area clean of cardboard and debris.
- Ensure the proper care, use and maintenance of equipment and tools; reports repair requirement to the store manager.
- Acts as the Health and Safety committee liaison for the site.
- Handles merchandise ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns, ensures price integrity including price changes.
- Promotes the prevention of robbery and violence in the workplace.
- Assists with training/orienting new Customer Service Representatives.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

- You have a grade 12 education or acceptable combination of education and experience
- You have one to two years of liquor experience in addition to ordering and merchandising skills
- You have strong math skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- You are a team player with strong communication skills
- You are physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- You have a current Serving It Right certification
