Hotel Janitorial

**Seeking permanent part time position for Hotel Janitorial staff**

**4-6 hours per day Wednesday & Thursday**

**4-6 hours Friday, Saturday & Sunday**

**Monday and Tuesday's Off**

**All Statutory Holidays Off**

**MUST be available weekends**

**Daily Janitorial Duties**:

- Sweep & mop lobby and all hotel entrances (Only with designated floor cleaner).
- Sweep & mop all stairwells that are not carpeted (Only with designated floor cleaner).
- Vacuum all carpeted stairwells.
- Clean all ledges, banisters, fireplaces & pictures from any dust or dirt.
- Vacuum all main hallways & corridors with carpeting (including runners).
- Mop pool common areas (Only with designated floor cleaner).
- Sweep and mop breakfast room area floors (Only with designated floor cleaner).
- Sweep and mop laundry room floors including guest laundry.
- Clean all dryer lint traps including guest laundry (use the designated broom and sweep all lint out from under driers and discard into garbage)
- Clean all areas of guest laundry including between and behind washers and dryers and garbage’s.
- wipe all public window ledges, hallway ledges, public door handles, and public washrooms.
- Sweep & mop public washroom including changing garbage, cleaning counters, sinks & mirrors.
- Clean all exterior ashtrays at hotel exit doors.
- Empty all interior main garbage’s (Including Breakfast Rooms) and replace with new garbage bags.
- Empty all exterior main garbage’s and replace with new garbage bags
- take all garbage out to dumpsters.
- Window Cleaner and clean any/all public windows that are in need of cleaning. Inside and out (weather permitting).

- Red Deer County, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
