The House of Commons Finance Services is currently looking to staff the Financial Analyst (Resource Management) position.
The Organization:
Finance Services provides a range of services to Members of Parliament and their employees as well as House Administration in order to achieve their objectives through effective advice, tools, processes and accountability measures. About the Role:
As part of this dynamic and dedicated team, you will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analyses and reconciliation activities to support Financial Planning colleagues in the provision of financial analysis and advice to senior management and clients or you will be responsible for performing corporate budgetary control functions, contributing to the development and maintenance of tools and reports to assess compliance with financial policies, procedures and financial authorities.

**Prerequisites**
**Education**:
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, or commerce, or an acceptable combination of education, training and related experience.
**Experience**:
- Recent* experience collecting, performing analysis and reconciling financial data from various sources;
- Recent* experience working with Microsoft Word, as well as with Microsoft Excel to prepare detailed financial analysis and reconciliation of complex data from various sources;
- Recent* experience in using an Integrated Financial System (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Business World) to extract and interpret complex financial data;
- Recent* experience in formatting and preparing various types of reports and templates.
