**Material Handler III - Mississauga, Ontario**

The Material Handler will perform various material handling tasks associated with the normal operations of a warehouse and distribution environment. S/he will assist in receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping materials and finished goods using the appropriate equipment.

The Material Handler will report to a Distribution Center Manager but may take direction from a Team Lead and/or other members of management. S/he will have regular interaction with other Material Handling associates, and occasional interaction with associates at other facilities and levels within the organization.

**What You Will Do**
- Follow all established and practiced Safety rules and regulations pursuant to policy and law
- Follow standard operating procedures process, work instructions, training and best practices
- Operate various material handling equipment, including but not limited to: a forklift and counter balance, pallet jack, reach and swing reach trucks, shrink wrappers, dock plates and doors to move pallets to designated areas, load or unload customer or carrier trailers, and pick ups
- Perform order fulfillment and replenishment activities, including but not limited to: identification of various items that need to be picked using a pack list, retrieve or replenish various materials using an RF scanner or computer systems to determine appropriate locations, decide on the proper box size and/or packaging requirements and build accordingly, print and affix packing lists on boxes, package, stage, palletize and shrink wrap orders
- Demonstrate accuracy in order fulfillment and replenishment activities including placing product in the correct storage bin location
- Achieve and maintain performance targets and goals set by the Company
- Operator computers and computer software as needed for daily tasks
- Research inventory discrepancies and report necessary corrections
- Cycle count designated zones and items
- Perform basic mathematical calculations
- Perform other related duties as required

**What You Will Need**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete task independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally & written)
- Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to consistently lift, push and pull 50 lbs
- Previous experience driving a fork lift and/or pallet jack preferred
- Previous distribution or warehouse experience preferred
