Oxford Food Group has an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor, located in Oxford, NS. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Work closely with the Maintenance, Plant, and Production Managers, Engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Assign tasks and oversee the maintenance team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide training, coaching, and constructive feedback to support team growth and skill development.
- Assist with maintenance tasks when needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Identify and resolve issues through independent and collaborative root cause analysis.
- Implement actions to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Plan and schedule both short
- and long-term maintenance, aligning with plant priorities.
- Lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure open communication across departments, promoting a collaborative work environment.

***Qualification & Experience**
- Postsecondary education in trades, technology or engineering is preferred.
- Red Seal in any mechanical related trade would also be considered an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of WHMIS, HACCP and LOTO would be considered an asset.
- Strong computer literacy would be considered an asset.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Supervisory experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience working in food manufacturing would be considered an asset.

- The ability to successfully lead a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task and handle competing priorities
- Sense of urgency
- The ability to work overtime hours and accept call ins’

- React to green wastes (wasted energy and water, air leaks, product leaks etc.) by submitting work orders for immediate repair
