As a key member of the Production team, you will maintain high manufacturing efficiencies while delivering a quality product in a safe and clean environment.

**Shifts Available**:
Afternoon Shift 3:00 pm - 11:15 pm

**As a Maintenance Helper, you will**:

- Help Millwright service the mechanical requirements of the Packaging department. This includes assisting in the setup, repair, and preventative maintenance of all Packaging equipment.
- Work closely with the Packaging Team Leaders to help ensure the facilitation of the packaging schedule through the efficient changeover and running of packaging equipment.
- Ensures compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Assists in the preparation of packaging line changeovers by:

- Reviewing tooling needs prior to changeover.
- Moving tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas.
- Ensuring change parts are available and in good condition, as well as stored in a sanitary manner.
- Advise packaging Team Leaders of potential areas for concern prior to changeover.
- Helping review the mechanical condition of line prior to startup.
- Assisting packaging personnel in test running all components of the line.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Problem solving skills troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
- Motivated, self -starter who can work independently within a team environment with mínimal direction and a passion to learn
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and possess excellent people skills
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Some heavy lifting required
- Experience in high-speed packaging equipment, fillers, cappers, labeler’s, coders, conveyors, and parts fabrication is an asset
