**Job Overview**

**Duties** **(included, but not limited to:)**
- General cleaning of fabrication shop, yard, parking lots and ditches
- Operate weed water/pull weeds
- Seasonal Maintenance (shoveling snow)
- Assist others with Sheet Metal Shop production (training will be provided)
- Learn sheet metal shop processes and fill in where/when needed (training will be provided)
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisors/Management

**Working Conditions**
- Labourers work from both verbal instructions and printed/written lists (all training will be provided)
- A 40-Hour compressed work week Monday through Thursday (Monday to Thursday - 6:30a.m. until 5:00p.m)
- Labourers will be working in a manufacturing shop setting, as well as outside.
- Considerable bending, reaching, and lifting to be expected.
- Safely working from ladders.

- work in a safe and efficient manner
- Good attitude and pride in work
- to be in good physical condition
- good attendance and punctuality
- read measurements in metric and imperial
- Math - must know basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions
- Have basic computer and APP knowledge
- strength, stamina and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms (50lbs)
- eye-hand coordination, spatial and form perception, good eyesight and manual dexterity
- to stand for long periods.
- be prepared to work in any outdoor settings (safety of workers is a priority for Makloc so there will be conditions where employees won't work in)
- comfortable and knowledgeable working with hand tools: hammers, vise grips, wrenches, drills, utility knives, caulking guns, pry bar, snips, mitre saw, grinders, etc (competency is evaluated on all new hires before they use any tool, regardless of experience)
- ability to take directions, problem solve, manage your time, multi-task would be an asset
