**HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM**:
You should have experience and be comfortable with all types of carpentry including but not limited to form work, framing and finishing.

It’s expected you complete tasks assigned without constant supervision and be interested in helping manage the site, crew and sub trades in the absence of the Site Supervisor.

You should have an excellent work ethic, solid communication skills, own a complete array of tools, a reliable vehicle and always represent the company in a positive manner.

**This position is ideally suited for someone aspiring to be a Site Supervisor or Lead Carpenter role.**

To qualify for the role, you will need the following qualifications:

- **Minimum 4 to 5 + years experience in residential construction**:

- **Must be a resident of Canada for at least 1 year (preferably in BC)**:

- Follow site safety rules
- Confidently read and understand site drawings
- Understanding of the BC Building Code
- Understanding of Vancouver's industry by-laws
- **Have a valid current driver's license and own a reliable vehicle**:

- Sound judgement with the ability to take direction and work without supervision
- Highly motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment
- Must own steel toed boots/shoes, and having your own tools is an asset
- _Red Seal Carpentry Ticket is highly preferred, not a requisite_
